The Holiday cottage "Le Clos du Val d'Or" is located in the village of Avenay Val D'or, 10km from Épernay and its famous Champagne avenue, 30km from Reims and Chalons en Champagne.
It lies in a green setting on the heights of the village, walled in (a wall surrounds the entire park), the garden (50 ares) is crossed by a small stream and also has a Forest (approx. 1.5hectares).
You'll be the only guests on the estate.
It will be the ideal place to stay with your family or friends, with total peace and quiet, but with quick access to the riches of our department (walks in the vineyards, Museums, shops etc....).
Marc, the owner, is a winegrower and can offer you an explanation of champagne, a tour and even a tasting session if you wish.
The Holiday cottage has a large living room with dining/living area and kitchen leading onto the terrace (with views over the river and Forest). From the living room you'll also have access to two bedrooms (one with a 160cm double bed, the other with two single beds) and a shower room.
A laundry room with washing machine and dryer is located in the basement.
New for 2026: The Holiday cottage will be equipped with a Nordic bath from April 15, 2026, and 2 electric bicycles.
Rates include bed linen (beds made on arrival), end-of-stay cleaning and utilities, Nordic bath and electric bikes.
Bathroom linen is not provided and is not optional.
Electric recharging point at the station in the village.

S-H A beautiful hidden domain
We had a lovely mini holiday here with our family. We were warmly welcomed by Marc and Jonathan. They are very hospitable, and we could use all the facilities. The garden is spacious and beautiful. For a few days, we had our own little French estate. Wonderful. Thank you both very much.

juannick Un joli lieu reposant
Très belle propriété, au calme, entourée de verdure et de vignes à l'extérieur. La maison est bien équipée et son atout principal est un vaste jardin + bois avec cours d'eau. Le propriétaire peut vous faire déguster sa gamme de champagne sur demande. La propriété est fermée (hauts murs + portail), on peut donc y stationner et ranger des vélos sous l'abri en toute sécurité.
A savoir que le village d'Avenay Val D'Or n'a qu'un charcutier/boucher comme commerce. Pour une boulangerie, une épicerie/superette... il faut aller jusque AY à quelques km.- Cleanliness

Gîte parfait bien situé. Nous avons pu profiter d'un séjour au calme, profiter d'une grande propriété. Quel plaisir de se détendre sur la terrasse au bord du ruisseau en dégustant un verre de champagne. Merci Monsieur Billard pour votre gentillesse. Nous reviendrons !

Gîte au calme sur terrain boisé en bordure de village.
Très bien équipé et fonctionnel.Pour donner une piste d'amélioration, pouvoir arriver plus tard (après 20h) et partir plus tard serait appréciable.
