In the heart of the Argonne, in a charming village just a few minutes from Sainte-Menehould, Gravelette offers a peaceful interlude in a fully renovated former farmhouse. The area lends itself naturally to walks, with a Countryside atmosphere conducive to rest and Hiking routes nearby. To enhance your stay, a private pond in the village is ideal for Fishing, while the enclosed courtyard with its lawn and landscaped garden invite you to take full advantage of the fine weather. A summer kitchen and terrace complete the outdoor spaces, for extended outdoor dining. In mid-season, the fireplace adds a cosy atmosphere, much appreciated after nature outings.
74 m² Holiday cottage for 3 people, adjoining the owner's house, with enclosed courtyard and lawn. Wi-Fi access. Pets not allowed. Bed linen included, Beds made on arrival. Housekeeping included.
First floor: living room opening onto kitchen, bathroom with shower and WC. Fireplace (Wood heating). Fitted kitchen (oven, microwave, fridge, 4-burner gas hob, coffee maker, Tassimo, kettle).
Upstairs: mezzanine with sofa bed and bedroom. Sleeps: 1 bed 140×190 and 1 bed 90×190.
Outside: terrace, summer kitchen, landscaped garden shared with the owner and unenclosed approval pond (1.20 m deep). Electric heating and utilities extra, wood and towels optional, according to rates.

Gîte très agréable dans un jardin paysagé très fleuri et disposant d'une superbe et grande terrasse couverte (si le temps permet d'en profiter ...).
Gîte fonctionnel, joliment décoré, chambre spacieuse. Le gîte est bien isolé mais nous avons apprécié les flambées dans la cheminée en cette semaine de météo mitigée.

Un cadre agréable et bien équipé :
Le gîte dispose d’une belle terrasse couverte, idéale pour profiter de l’extérieur à l’abri du soleil ou de la pluie. Vous y trouverez une grande table conviviale, une plancha électrique ainsi qu’un espace détente avec fauteuils. Le tout s’ouvre sur un magnifique jardin partagé avec un petit étang, parfait pour un moment de sérénité.Un accueil attentionné :
Mylène, l’hôte, a été particulièrement prévenante et a mis à disposition tout le nécessaire pour notre bébé de 8 mois (chaise haute, jeux, tapis d’activité, lit). Petit point d’attention toutefois : l’étang n’étant pas sécurisé, le gîte n’est pas conseillé avec de jeunes enfants en âge de marcher.Un environnement propice aux découvertes:
Le gîte est situé dans un charmant village, point de départ idéal pour de jolies balades et la visite du jardin d’Hélène. Les villes voisines offrent toutes les commodités (commerces, marchés, piscine publique…), tandis que Verdun et Châlons-en-Champagne permettent de découvrir de magnifiques sites historiques, loin de l’affluence touristique.- Cleanliness

Dave&Kate A great place to relax and unwind
A great welcome by a friendly owner. All the equipment worked well.
The stairs to the bedroom are steep and slippery and are easier to climb if shoes are worn.
We spent a very enjoyable week relaxing, watching the swallows being fed and eventually fledging from behind the window on the mezzanine.
