Holiday cottage Panda in the Munster valley. Detached house for 6 people, isolated on the edge of a quiet Forest, at the end of a road accessible by car and offering privileged access to nature. In winter, the road is cleared of snow up to 50 meters before the Holiday cottage (steep slope). Snow tires strongly recommended and compulsory between 01/11 and 31/03 (Mountain law). 2 km from the village of Breitenbach. In the heart of the Parc des Ballons des Vosges, with great Hiking potential throughout the Munster valley, ideally located for outdoor activities.

Holiday cottage comprises kitchen, living/dining room, wood-burning stove. 3 bedrooms (2 single beds, 2 double beds). Bathroom, washing machine, dishwasher, TV, bread maker.
Courtyard, barbecue, garden furniture, terrace. Wood heating included, gas heating extra. No wifi, but Orange cell phone antenna nearby.
Visit the Route des Crêtes, mountain lakes, military sites, farm inns and Vineyard villages. Downhill skiing at Gérardmer and, closer to home, at Schnepfenried and Gaschney. Hiking from the Holiday cottage and snowshoeing in winter. The owner is a qualified Mountain Leader and will be happy to advise you on Hiking tours.

In winter, snow equipment strongly recommended and compulsory between 01/11 and 31/03 (Mountain law). For arrivals after 8pm, please contact the owners at least 24 hours in advance.

Magnifique endroit, gite très bien équipé, tout ce que l'on cherchais ! Pour l'accès il faut être un peu équipé et ne pas avoir une voiture trop basse, mais c'est ce qui fait tout son charme.

Anne Peaceful & cosy week at a beautiful location, with stunning view! Fabienne is a very welcoming host!
The rainy days were well-spent around the woodstove in the cosy living, with a basic but well-equipped kitchen. The sunny days were great for beautiful hikes, both near the house as well as at Petit Ballon and Le Honeck, not far either. Munster close by for shopping and a good bakery in the village itself.

It's always a pleasure to meet people who appreciate nature's pieces! Thank you for your suggestion regarding the sockets. There are several in the house, but perhaps they were too well organized. I'll make them more prominent.
C'est toujours un plaisir de rencontrer des personnes sachant savourer les coins de nature ! Merci pour votre suggestion pour les prises. Ils y en a plusieurs dans la maison mais peut-être étaient-elles trop bien rangées. Je vais les mettre plus en évidence. -

L'accès au gite est un peu ''sportif'' mais alors, quelle vue splendide sur la vallée et le versant opposé !
Le gite est très accueillant et très confortable avec la bibliothèque, les BD et la musique et est bien équipé pour agrémenter un séjour dans une magnifique région.- Cleanliness

Hugues Le calme, la vue, les oiseaux, les randonnées
Séjour de 2 semaines avec un couple d'amis: le gite était très agréable, surtout superbement situé, aussi bien pour profiter de la vue et de la tranquillité que pour aller se promener. Le petit ballon est directement accessible à pied depuis la maison, si on est prêt à monter quelques raidillons. En prenant la voiture, on accède à de très nombreuses autres promenades balisées par le club vosgiens, en particulier autour de la route des crêtes.
