Le Relais des Comtes

Located at the foot of Ferrette castle, in a 16th-century manor house, the Relais des Comtes offers 4 guest rooms named after the high points of the Sundgau region.

The Liebenstein and Morimont rooms feature a double bed (140x190), bathroom and toilet.
The Ferrette room sleeps 3, with 1 double bed (160x200) and 1 single bed (90x190), bathroom with bath and separate toilet, sofa.
The Landskron room, on the first floor, is accessible to people with reduced mobility. Double bed (140x190)Bathroom with shower and toilet.

The anecdote concerns the following fact: on the "secondary" entrance door, the lintel shows the butcher's coat of arms, the initials of the bride and groom (R , E) and the date 1611, which is engraved in the lintel. On site, we found a second stone that we incorporated into the wall of the lean-to that we had converted into a kitchen. This stone bears the butcher's coat of arms (the leaf) and the date 1613. Hypothesis... the construction of the house began in 1611 and ended in 1613?
