We have 5 bedrooms: one for 2 people on the first floor, accessible for people with reduced mobility, with shower room and toilet. Upstairs, 2 rooms for 2 people, 1 room for 3 people and a family room for 5 people. Each has a private bathroom with separate toilet. Baby equipment available free of charge on request. Ski room available. A shared dining room with a lounge area (flat-screen TV) is at your disposal. Wifi access. Traditional homemade breakfast included. Private parking, garage for bikes and motorcycles on request. Table d'hôtes by reservation every evening of the week.
Farmhouse breakfast is served from 8am to 10am. It will include home-made jam, local honey, our butter and cheeses. It will also be accompanied by "Kougelhopf" or "streusel" cake or homemade brioche, all served with coffee, fresh milk or tea as you wish.
The table d'hôte is a moment of conviviality and exchange between guests and our family over a meal concocted by Nathalie, the hostess, who will introduce you to Alsatian specialities according to the season and using farm produce (cheese, charcuterie...). All washed down with Alsace wines selected by Jean-Mathieu from our Eguisheim winemaker (Schneider Christian). Meal prices Adults: €30/person including drinks, over 16s: €23 (non-alcoholic), 11 to 16s: €18, 3 to 10s: €10, free for children under 3. Price includes full meal (starter - main course - cheese - dessert), aperitif, wine (1/4 per person) or beverage (water, fruit juice, etc.), coffee or herbal tea. To reserve, please contact Nathalie.

Lovely view from the Spitzkopf to the Rainkopf via the Kastelberg and Gaschney, with the occasional chance to see game (doe, stag) in the morning when you wake up. Access to the mezzanine via a staircase. The mezzanine has 3 single beds.

Nous avons passé un très bon weekend au Grand Hêtre.
L'accueil est très chaleureux, la table d'hôtes excellente, les hôtes disponibles et très sympathiques, les chambres agréables et confortables. Le tout dans un cadre exceptionnel !

MARIE-LAURE ET JEAN La formule chambre d hôtes avec table d hotes c’est idéal
Ce fut un véritable plaisir d’être accueilli chez Jean Mathieu et Nathalie. L’endroit est magnifique et reposant et en même temps proche de plein de visites et d’excursions possible. Parfait.L’accueil ,la gentillesse des hôtes nous a fait nous sentir comme à la maison. Et que dire des supers petits déjeuners et de la table d hôtes : plats délicieux ,convivialité et bonne humeur toujours au rendez vous. Les fromages et charcuteries de Jean Mathieu un régal. Un vrai bonheur.Quant à la chambre: parfaite, propre , cosy et calme. Ne changez rien, gardez cette authenticité et votre bienveillance. Dernier point ON REVIENDRA!!!!

Pauline Superbe lieu
Jean-Mathieu et Nathalie ont à coeur d’accueillir leurs hôtes avec générosité et discrétion. Les chambres sont impeccables, la vue superbe. La chambre avec la mezzanine est particulièrement agréable avec les enfants. Nous avons partagé un copieux et petit déjeuner avec nos hôtes, élaborés à partir de produits de la ferme, produits sur place. Un gîte que je recommande chaudement, été comme hiver.
