Le Grand Hêtre

La Ferme du Grand Hêtre is located at Schnepfenried, in the heart of nature at an altitude of 1000m, on our farm and close to the Schnepfenried ski resort.

We have 5 bedrooms: one for 2 people on the first floor, accessible for people with reduced mobility, with shower room and toilet. Upstairs, 2 rooms for 2 people, 1 room for 3 people and a family room for 5 people. Each has a private bathroom with separate toilet. Baby equipment available free of charge on request. Ski room available. A shared dining room with a lounge area (flat-screen TV) is at your disposal. Wifi access. Traditional homemade breakfast included. Private parking, garage for bikes and motorcycles on request. Table d'hôtes by reservation every evening of the week.
Farmhouse breakfast is served from 8am to 10am. It will include home-made jam, local honey, our butter and cheeses. It will also be accompanied by "Kougelhopf" or "streusel" cake or homemade brioche, all served with coffee, fresh milk or tea as you wish.
The table d'hôte is a moment of conviviality and exchange between guests and our family over a meal concocted by Nathalie, the hostess, who will introduce you to Alsatian specialities according to the season and using farm produce (cheese, charcuterie...). All washed down with Alsace wines selected by Jean-Mathieu from our Eguisheim winemaker (Schneider Christian). Meal prices Adults: €30/person including drinks, over 16s: €23 (non-alcoholic), 11 to 16s: €18, 3 to 10s: €10, free for children under 3. Price includes full meal (starter - main course - cheese - dessert), aperitif, wine (1/4 per person) or beverage (water, fruit juice, etc.), coffee or herbal tea. To reserve, please contact Nathalie.
