La Porterie Hêtre

Holiday cottage de la Porterie "Hêtre" is located on the second floor of the owners' 17th-century house. It's a lovely vacation spot on the outskirts of the village of Murbach, facing the abbey, a jewel of Romanesque art. Situated at the foot of the Grand Ballon, the highest peak in the Vosges (1424m), in a calm, green setting, this is an ideal location for Hiking and cycling.

The gîte comprises 3 bedrooms: 2 with 140x200cm beds, the 3rd with a 90x200cm bed. In the living room you'll find a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a connected TV and a view of the abbey. Covered terrace accessible from the entrance to the accommodation under the porch. Private parking on the property for several cars. You also have at your disposal a private closed room to store bicycles, hiking gear or other items. This room has an electric socket for charging the battery of your electric bike, for example.

The shared garden is 100m away, where you can relax on a deckchair at the foot of a tree, or use the ping-pong table. This area is shared with the "Chêne" gîte.
Please note that the gîte is located in a white zone, so there is no network coverage, but free WIFI in the gîte and the owners are on site with a fixed telephone line.
