La Porterie "Chêne" is located on the second floor of the owner's 17th-century house. A beautiful resort on the outskirts of the village of Murbach, facing the abbey, a jewel of Romanesque art... Situated at the foot of the Grand Ballon, the highest peak in the Vosges (1424m), in a calm, green setting, this is an ideal location for Hiking and cycling.

Holiday cottage with 2 bedrooms, shower room, separate kitchen and living/dining room overlooking the beautiful Romanesque abbey.
The Holiday cottage has 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom has 1 bunk bed (2 x 80cm mattresses) and 1 baby bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a 140x200 double bed. In the living room you'll find a dining area with the lounge area, TV and a fully-equipped kitchen in a room opposite. Covered terrace accessible from the entrance to the accommodation under the porch. Private parking on the property for several cars.
There's also a private closed storage area for bikes, Hiking gear and other items. This room has an electric socket for charging the battery of your electric bike, for example.
The shared garden is 100m away, where you can relax on a deckchair at the foot of a tree, or use the ping-pong table. This area is shared with the Holiday cottage "Hêtre".
Please note that the Holiday cottage is located in a white zone, with no network coverage, but with free WIFI in the cottage and the owners on site with a fixed telephone line.
This Holiday cottage is located in the same building as the Porterie "Hêtre", and it is possible to rent both accommodations.

Eine sehr gemütliche, helle Wohnung in einem schön sanierten historischen Gebäude mit herrlichem Blick auf die Abtei Murbach und die bewaldeten Berge der Vogesen. Die Vermieter waren äußerst zuvorkommend und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nathalie Superbe séjour avec vue imprenable sur l'Abbaye de Murbach
Le gîte est très bien agencé et lumineux avec beaucoup d'espaces de rangements.
Le local donnant sur la terrasse offre un grand espace de rangement supplémentaire.L'accès à la terrasse et au jardin est très appréciable ainsi que les places de parking privé.
L'environnement est calme et reposant. Il y a de nombreuses possibilités de randonnées au pied du gîte.
Le réel point fort est l'insonorisation du gîte ; nous n'entendions ni les propriétaires ni les résidents de l'autre appartement.
Les propriétaires sont adorables et très à l'écoute.

Anne superbe séjour avec vue magnifique sur l'Abbaye dans un tout petit village très calme.
Appartement très confortable, très propre et au calme. Les Hotes sont très sympathiques et conseillent bien sur la région.
