La Porterie Chêne

La Porterie "Chêne" is located on the second floor of the owner's 17th-century house. A beautiful resort on the outskirts of the village of Murbach, facing the abbey, a jewel of Romanesque art... Situated at the foot of the Grand Ballon, the highest peak in the Vosges (1424m), in a calm, green setting, this is an ideal location for Hiking and cycling.

The Holiday cottage has 2 bedrooms: 1 bedroom has 1 bunk bed (2 x 80cm mattresses) and 1 baby bed, and the 2nd bedroom has a 140x200 double bed. In the living room you'll find a dining area with the lounge area, TV and a fully-equipped kitchen in a room opposite. Covered terrace accessible from the entrance to the accommodation under the porch. Private parking on the property for several cars.
There's also a private closed storage area for bikes, Hiking gear and other items. This room has an electric socket for charging the battery of your electric bike, for example.

The shared garden is 100m away, where you can relax on a deckchair at the foot of a tree, or use the ping-pong table. This area is shared with the Holiday cottage "Hêtre".
Please note that the Holiday cottage is located in a white zone, with no network coverage, but with free WIFI in the cottage and the owners on site with a fixed telephone line.

This Holiday cottage is located in the same building as the Porterie "Hêtre", and it is possible to rent both accommodations.
