Welcome to Thannenkirch, a charming village at an altitude of 500 m, at the foot of the Taennchel massif, with many Hiking trails starting from the village. Our Holiday cottage, completely renovated at the end of 2017, welcomes you for a relaxing stay between nature, Vineyards and heritage. The Holiday cottage offers a warm and functional setting, ideal for vacations with family or friends. Numerous hiking and biking trails start right outside the house, to discover the Taennchel massif and the local wildlife: deer, storks and other natural wonders. Just a few minutes away by car, you can explore the famous Ribeauvillé castles and the majestic Haut-Koenigsbourg, or stroll through typical villages such as Ribeauvillé, Bergheim, Riquewihr or Kaysersberg. On the first floor, you'll enjoy a convivial living room with fireplace and satellite TV, a fully-equipped kitchen (oven, dishwasher, Senseo filter and espresso coffee machine, gas stove, etc.) opening onto a dining area, and a bathroom with toilet and washing machine on the ground floor.
Upstairs, a large bedroom with double bed (160x200 cm) and a second bedroom with two single beds (90x190 cm). Wooden shutters and blackout curtains. A second bathroom with WC completes the night space.
Access is via wooden stairs, a little steep but secured by a ramp and a barrier for Kids. There are also small steps between some rooms on the ground floor.
From the living room, the ground-level access leads to a fully enclosed garden, as well as to a covered terrace, beautifully flowered in summer.
A closed garage with automatic door is at your disposal, as well as a private parking space.

If you arrive late in the afternoon, you can use a key box to enter the property, and the owner will welcome you in the evening.
Firewood for your stay is provided at an additional cost.
Umbrella bed and high chair available for babies.
Full linen kit available only as an optional extra and bookable at time of booking.

A supplement for heating may be charged for consumption exceeding €30 per week.
