Gîte La Lampisterie

The gîte "La lampisterie" welcomes you to Alsace, to Mertzen to be precise, in the heart of a very quiet village in the Sundgau region, the land of traditional carp and French fries. The house dates back to 1910 and has been completely renovated by us.

On the first floor, you'll find a fitted kitchen opening onto the dining room and living room, a bathroom (shower and bath), separate toilet.
Upstairs, an open-plan play area and three bedrooms (2 with double beds and 1 with a double and a single bed). Bed linen and towels are provided.
The gîte is not far from several towns where you can discover museums and traditional villages: 35 minutes from Mulhouse (cité du train, musée électropolis, musée de l'automobile, zoo...) and Belfort (Lion de Bartholdi and its citadel, old town), 50 min from Colmar and Basel, 25 min from Ferrette and Porrentruy. The gîte is also ideal for discovering our region, while taking advantage of the private, fenced-in, quiet outdoor space.
On request at the time of booking, childcare equipment can be provided (safety gate on the first floor, 1 cot, 1 cot bed, 1 high chair, 1 cane stroller or 1 all-terrain stroller, bathrobe, sleeping bag...).
Pets are welcome, provided you inform us in advance.
Just a few kilometers away (by bike or car), you'll find the Maison de la Nature, which offers a range of activities.
A playground is also within walking distance.
The gîte is located along the Largue Valley cycle route (built on the old railroad line), which links three major cycle routes: Eurovélo 6, Eurovélo 5, Eurovélo 15 and other cycle routes in the area.
Numerous hiking and mountain biking trails are available from and near the gite (GR 532 at Mertzen).
All external visits are subject to the owners' approval, and all events involving external visitors are forbidden.
The gîte is a non-smoking area. Ashtrays are available on the terrace.
