Gite de la Muse

Welcome to the Holiday cottage de la Muse, a true Alsatian cocoon! Situated on the wine route between Colmar and Mulhouse, along the Vosges mountains, you'll be able to explore the whole of Alsace very easily, while enjoying a typical Alsatian village. We offer you a charming 60m² house in a quiet location in the historic center of Rouffach, a medieval city and 'stork village'. This is your chance to stay in the heart of Alsace's Vineyard region, in a pleasant, dynamic City with many tourist attractions. A 5-minute walk away: bakery, restaurants (takeaway sales possible), mini-market, open-air market on Wednesday and Saturday with local produce, pharmacy, winegrower's cellars, tourist office...

The Holiday cottage has 2 floors: access from the ground floor, 2 steps to the shower room-WC, on the 1st floor is the living room and open kitchen, then on the 2nd floor the bedroom.
Design, narrow, secure staircases.
The house, ideal for 2 people, can accommodate up to 4 with the sofa bed (real mattress 140x190cm), it has :
- an open-plan, fully-equipped kitchen
- a living room with a study area (with Ethernet cable and plug), a connected TV with access to numerous channels, Bluetooth speaker, quality sofa bed (140x190cm)
- a spacious bedroom with a double bed: bed ready on arrival
- a bathroom with washing machine and all necessary equipment: bathroom linen provided
- a garden with outdoor lounge and space to play pétanque, skittles available in the Holiday cottage
- Secure bicycle storage
- Private parking in front of the house
- Bus station and TER train station a 20-minute walk away.
Pets are not allowed.

Many nearby tourist attractions, such as the Ecomusée d'Alsace, France's largest open-air museum, Parc du Petit Prince, Cité de l'Automobile, Cité du Train, Parc des Stognes, castles (Hohlandsbourg, Haut-Koenigsbourg...), numerous museums (Unterlinden, textiles, toys, Electropolis...), great Hiking trails (many on foot or by bike).
