Completely renovated former Vosges farmhouse in a quiet country setting at Le Faurupt, 900 m above sea level, with exceptional views.
With its own entrance, the gite is part of the family home of the owners, who produce local cheeses, butter and honey.
The gite is well-appointed and equipped for all seasons: a wood-burning stove complements gas central heating; outside, a grassy terrace with garden table, barbecue and children's play area.
On the ground floor, there's a large fitted kitchen, a living room with satellite TV, the wood-burning stove, a shower room and a toilet.
Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, each with a double bed. One of these has 2 additional single beds, another a cot, and the 4th a private bathroom and toilet.
Numerous walks, bike rides, mountain biking and/or skiing are possible from the gite to the Col des Bagenelles, Grand Brézouard and the village of Le Bonhomme... The gite is close to the GR5 hiking trail.
At the crossroads of several tourist sites, the Val d'Argent near Sainte Marie aux Mines, the Orbey valley, its lakes and crests, the Kaysersberg vineyards, the Vosges factory stores (sweets, linen..., ) it offers a peaceful return after visits, and the possibility of observing starry skies.
It's 2 kms from the Bagenelles ski resort, which offers groomed cross-country ski trails in winter and mountain bike trails all year round; and 9 kms from the winter-summer resort of Lac Blanc (cross-country skiing - downhill skiing - renowned Bike Park, summer tobogganing).

The owners live on the first floor, with their own entrance.
