At the foot of the Grand Ballon, at an altitude of 720m, at the start of numerous hiking trails and the greenway leading to the Route des Crêtes, we offer you our traditional house with panoramic views of the Vosges. Our gîte is fully equipped with quality materials in a warm mountain atmosphere.

The house comprises 2 levels with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with walk-in showers, fully equipped open kitchen, two living rooms, laundry room, garage, terrace.

1 double bedroom with 160x200cm bed
1 shower room with walk-in shower and WC
Living room with sofa bed, board games and books
Fully-equipped kitchen opening onto living-dining room (oven, 4-burner gas stove, fridge, dishwasher)

1 family room with a 160x200 bed and 2 90x200 beds
1 bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet
Spacious living room with sofa bed, 2 large leather sofas, flat-screen TV, desk.

Laundry room with washing machine, additional fridge and freezer, south-facing terrace with panoramic views, outdoor barbecue. Beds made up on arrival. Towels provided.
Dogs - except category 1 and 2 - are welcome at no extra charge.
Private parking for 4 cars, access to a garage for 1 car or storage for bikes, skis, etc.

Baby equipment provided free of charge on request (cot, high chair, bathtub, changing mat).

Located in Geishouse, a small village of 450 inhabitants at the foot of the Grand Ballon, in the heart of the Ballon des Vosges Regional Nature Park, the gîte is ideal for hiking, mountain biking, cycling or simply relaxing. We have hiking maps at your disposal and can advise you on our favorite routes and the best restaurants and farm inns. Not forgetting excursions to La Bresse, Le Markstein, the Wine Route, the museums of Mulhouse and Colmar... Le Chamois Rouge is 4 km from the Moosch train station and 35 km from Mulhouse. The nearest airport, Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg, is 59 km away.
