Chalet Les fougères Schnepfenried

Gîte, au centr'Alsace, in a beautiful chalet at Schnepfenried, high up in the Munster valley.

Ideally located for discovering the most beautiful villages on the wine route, such as Eguisheim, Kaysersberg, Riquewihr, Ribeauvillé, Colmar... hike the trails of the Ballons des Vosges nature park and relax on the shores of its many lakes, including Lac Vert, Lac des Truites, Lac de Kruth-Wildenstein...and, of course, Lac de Gerardmer.

The gite is 15 minutes from Munster and 30 minutes from Colmar. It's a very quiet and restful place, with a natural terrace where you can contemplate the unique panorama of the Munster valley, the Alsace plain, the Black Forest and the highest peaks of the Vosges.

In winter, its location at the foot of the ski slopes means you can enjoy all the winter sports in this completely renovated resort, equipped with snow cannons. In December, the most beautiful Christmas markets in the area will fill you with wonder. An on-site Adventure Park open all year round will delight your children. Along the Route des Crêtes, a host of farm inns will delight your taste buds with their home-grown mountain dishes.

The gîte is on the first floor of the chalet, as the 1st floor is not occupied. The gîte comprises two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two bunk beds and a sofa bed for one or two extra people, a bathroom with shower, a small fully-equipped kitchen and a living room with dining area. Depending on type and number, pets are accepted subject to prior arrangement with the owner.
