Located in the Thur valley, in a calm, unspoilt environment, discover this magnificent wooden Chalet! Close to the Grand Ballon and the Markstein ski resort, the Vosges mountains are right on your doorstep! Situated at the end of a cul-de-sac, in a quiet, slightly elevated position, the chalet enjoys plenty of sunshine! In addition to the two terraces, there's a private garden and parking space. As Storckensohn is a small village, the nearest shops are 1 km away in the village of Urbès. Ideal for 6 people, the Chalet was built in 2005 by Dominique, and its decoration and atmosphere will ensure a total change of scenery during your stay. On the 1st floor, the entrance hall, living room with dining table, fully-equipped modern kitchen (oven, hob, dishwasher, freezer, kitchen appliances), bathroom with 90x90 shower, washing machine, sink and toilet, and master bedroom, with 180*200 cm double box spring bed, storage and direct access to the terrace. On the ground floor, the living room with its beautiful fireplace, with Dominique providing the wood on arrival. There's also a TV area with home Cinema and DVD player. The Holiday cottage is equipped with WIFI. On the 2nd floor, 2 separate bedrooms. The 1st with a single 140*190cm bed and a sofa bed. The 2nd with two beds, a double bed 140*190cm and a single bed 90*190cm. In total, there are 5 beds (including the sofa bed), offering numerous sleeping combinations thanks to the double and single beds. Bed linen is included, and beds are made up. Towels and end-of-stay cleaning are optional. Finally, pets are not allowed. Car-port for parking. You're also just 1 hour from Colmar and 45 minutes from Mulhouse, close to the Alsace Vineyard. Switzerland, with Basel, is also around 1 hour away, as is the pretty German city of Freiburg im Breisgau. There's plenty to see and do.
