Would you like to visit Alsace du Nord? Nestled between the Vosges mountains and the plain, in the hollow of a limestone hill to the east and the beautiful Vosges forest to the west, just a stone's throw from the Vosges du Nord regional park, Marmoutier, a village of 2,700 inhabitants, is a great place for visitors to stop. Long the seat of one of Alsace's most prestigious Benedictine abbeys, founded in the 6th century by an Irish monk, the village still retains many vestiges of its past. The abbey church is one of Alsace's finest examples of Romanesque art, with a red sandstone façade and a choir featuring rich Louis IV-style paintings and woodwork. It's here, in the shadow of the abbey church, that the "Klosterhof" bed and breakfast, built in the prestigious 18th-century remains, opens its doors to you for a change of scenery, immersed in the atmosphere of this house imbued with calm and contemplation.

Please note that it is not suitable for young Kids or the elderly.
From the entrance to the Holiday cottage on the first floor, you enter the first level, which has been converted into a small dining room.
From here, a few steps lead up to the second level: the kitchen (with fridge, microwave, oven, induction hob and dishwasher).
Via the kitchen, we reach the sleeping area, from where, on the same level, we find access to the bathroom (with washbasin, bathtub and washing machine) and separate toilet.
Finally, a mezzanine level (3rd) (integrated into the sleeping area) via a (rather steep) staircase gives access to a single bed (90x190) with bedside table, armchair and small desk.
