Le Gîte de Bambou

Nestled at the top of a hill in a green setting, the Holiday cottage Bambou is the perfect place to recharge your batteries in the heart of the Alsace plain. You'll be able to enjoy the gentle Alsatian way of life in this tastefully decorated home, in the heart of a quiet, picturesque village - with its pretty half-timbered houses adorned with geraniums. Engwiller is 45 minutes from Strasbourg, capital of Europe (and Christmas!), 40 minutes from Bitche and its citadel, and 20 minutes from Haguenau, a charming imperial city. You'll have access to a wide range of hiking trails in the fresh air, between plains, hills and forests. From the Holiday cottage, you'll be ideally placed to explore Alsace on foot or by bike, and get a real breath of fresh air! Bikers in particular will appreciate the nature park around La Petite-Pierre. Between City and Countryside, generous gastronomy and the Wine Route, typical architecture and fortified castles, historic sites and places of remembrance, the region is sure to seduce you.

Detached house. Upstairs: a 1st bedroom (1 bed 2p - 160 x 200) with balcony access, a second bedroom (2 beds 1p) and a 3rd bedroom (2 beds 1p). A bathroom (bath and shower) and separate toilet complete the floor. On the first floor: a dining/living area with fireplace (wood provided free of charge, air-conditioning only in this living area), a fully-equipped kitchen opening onto the private terrace and garden. A relaxation room with sofa bed and library and a 2nd separate toilet are also located on the first floor.
Electric heating included. Private parking and garage. Pets allowed at extra charge: €3/night/pet.
