Véra and Pierre welcome you to their single-storey Holiday cottage, accessible to people with reduced mobility.
The Holiday cottage offers :
- A fully-equipped kitchen with dining area
- Lake bathroom with open shower and grab bar, WC and washbasin.
- A bedroom with 2 beds close together, allowing you to raise your head and/or feet.
- A living room with sofa bed for 2 people (at an additional cost of €40 per stay/person)
- Private parking at the front of the house.
Outside, you'll find garden furniture, a barbecue and a green area shared with the owner.
A covered Location is available for bicycles, with a plug for recharging electric bikes.

J & K W Beautiful Alsace
Gîte du Mamelé is a very comfortable and well equipped gîte. Véra and Pierre made us feel very welcome which helped us to settle in after three days of travelling. When the weather turned unseasonably cold, Pierre made sure we knew how to set the heating.
Gîte du Mamelé is well situated to visit this beautiful part of France. The city of Strasbourg is not far away and has an excellent park and ride system. Obernai is worth exploring as is the countryside around Le Hohwald. Schirmeck has all the facilities for you stay including a bustling market on a Wednesday morning.

Marc et Muriel Accueil chaleureux et superbe logement idéalement situé pour les amateurs de randonnée
Ravis d'être revenus cette année pour revoir Véra et sa petite famille, et repartir randonner sur le massif vosgien. L'accueil est vraiment hyper chaleureux et Véra est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. Le logement est super, très propre, très fonctionnel, très bien équipé et le jardin est vraiment très joli et bucolique. L'accès aux différents sentiers de randonnée est super, il y a énormément de possibilités, de découvertes à faire, et à la fois chargé en histoire. Nous avons eu la chance d'avoir eu du beau temps toute la semaine, c'était génial. Nous reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir car nous nous sentons vraiment bien chez vous. Alain un séjour très agréable dans un logement confortable
Nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans le logement de Véra très confortable, très propre, bien équipé et situé dans un quartier tranquille, sans oublier sa localisation intéressante pour les visites et les randonnées ( villages de la vallée de la Bruche, Mémorial d'Alsace-Moselle, Le Donon ...etc ). Véra est une personne de contact très agréable et très disponible pour ses hôtes de passage.

Jocelyn & Ula Very positive: Véra was welcoming, helpful when needed. Fully equiped flat, even for a baby or a dog
We arrived on a Sunday by train, and we had been offered a lift. We stayed a week, mostly to hike and to visit local museums and historical sites. Véra and her family were very welcoming and great hosts, recommending activities and places to go to.
The flat is very well equiped, comfortable, clean and cosy. Véra provided us with a baby bed, baby bathtube, changing mat, and our dog got a bed and bowls for food. We really rest during our stay and, if we have the opportunity, we will be very happy to come back, but maybe in winter this time.- Cleanliness
