Chez Violette

Three bed and breakfast rooms, including a family suite, in an old Mennonite farmhouse (dating from 1802) in the heart of the Forest, in a very quiet location. The site is soberly beautiful, the surroundings verdant. You'll be lulled to sleep by the murmur of the wind in the trees and the song of the stream below. Numerous hiking trails criss-cross the Vosges Forest. The house is ideally located in the center of Alsace, allowing you to explore the region's major tourist sites, such as the Château du Haut-Koenigsbourg, the Struthof memorial, the Volerie des aigles... As well as the Alsatian villages, many of which are or have been "Village Préféré des Français" (French Favourite Village), and even more attractive in December with their Christmas Markets!

Completely restored in a "cosy" spirit, it offers all the comfort you could wish for, in simplicity. The rooms are on the first and second floors of the building (so stairs).
The house is decorated with patchwork, embroidery and counted stitches, seasonal decorations, etc.

In summer, the thick walls keep the house pleasantly cool.

Breakfast is served in our dining room, or outside in fine weather.
Green space, garden furniture, swing, trampoline, parking. Hiking possible right outside the house. Pets allowed on request.
Access is via a forest track, which is degraded but passable if you drive slowly.
