We are delighted to welcome you to Solbach, in our fully restored farmhouse dating from 1754. The Holiday cottage is adjoining our house. Solbach is situated at an altitude of 650 metres, overlooking the Bruche Valley and offering magnificent panoramic views. Between the Forest and the Mountain, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the surrounding area. Beyond Solbach, the road gives way to a hiking trail. From the terrace, while preparing your meal on the barbecue or in the "tartes flambées" oven, you can enjoy the splendid view of the Donon mountains. Solbach is located halfway between Strasbourg and Colmar (approx. 1 h drive). So you can visit all these wonderful cities, villages, wine roads and castles...

For your convenience, our beds are made on arrival. No need to bring your own sheets. However, we do not supply towels (bath towels or dish towels).
As far as crockery is concerned, there's no need to bring anything either. A word of clarification about the coffee machine: the Holiday cottage has a Senséo machine with pods and a classic machine with bulk coffee.

A barbecue is available on the terrace. It's up to you to bring your own food;
There's also an oven for flambéed tarts (= our famous Flammekuche!). You can also bake pizzas.
We supply the wood for this oven,
and Roger will be happy to show you how.

The Holiday cottage is of course equipped with WIFI, but for a better connection, you'll need to stay indoors.
You'll also find a range of books inside. Enough to keep you entertained, young and old alike.

From January 2025, prices for this rental (including charges and heating) will vary from €750 to €1050 per week, depending on the period.
Tourist tax = €1.10/day/adult.
The cleaning fee is 50 €.


During school vacations, rental is from Saturday to Saturday. Outside this period, exceptions may be made depending on periods already rented.

We're located in a small village at the foot of the Hiking trails, so there's plenty of opportunity for morning walks and jogs.

Just 3 km away ( Fouday ) is the renowned Restaurant "Chez Julien". But a word of advice: remember to book as soon as you have finalized your Holiday cottage reservation, as it is very much in demand.
