100 km from Paris and Reims, 60 km from Troyes, Epernay and Sens, 25 km from Sézanne, 20 km from Provins, 15 km from Nogent sur Seine. Gite adjoining another gite in a character stone house with heated pool.

On the first floor, you'll find a spacious living room with billiard table, a dining room that can seat 12, a fully-equipped kitchen, a shower room and separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find a relaxation/library area, 3 double bedrooms with en suite facilities (shower, washbasin, wc), a triple bedroom (2 bunk beds 90x190 + one bed 90x190). Outside, you'll find a private courtyard and terrace with garden furniture, barbecue and parasol, a swimming pool (accessible and heated from June to early September) to be shared with the 2nd gite, 7*10 m. Electricity and heating included in the price. Beds made on arrival and end-of-stay cleaning included in the price. All shops and amenities on site. TOURIST ATTRACTIONS: Nogent sur Seine and its power station 15 km away, Provins and its medieval city, Lacs d'Orient 70 km away, Château de la Motte Tilly 20 km away, vineyard visit and tasting on site (by appointment, €4/person).

    vacances familiales

    Cadre idéal pour des retrouvailles familiales ( c'était notre cas), et très bien placé pour un séjour "découverte" dans notre région d'origine : vignoble champenois , proximité de Provins et son histoire médiévale, Troyes très accessible...etc

    Christmas holidays in Villenauxe-la-grande

    The house is really spacious and well equipped of furniture for a relaxed stay with a big family (we were 9).
    Each main bedroom has its own bathroom which is very comfortable.
    A pool table in the living room helps to occupy young and old (some pool cues need a replacement though).
    The house also has a beautiful garden and a nice swimming pool (must be very interesting in summertime).
    From Villenauxe-la-grande you can make different interesting visits to Nogent sur Seine, Provins, Troyes as well as hiking in the beautiful environment.

    The owners (family Oudard) also produce a nice champagne for a reasonable price. You can ask them to put some bottles in the fridge so that you can enjoy a nice glass of champagne upon arrival. Very relaxing after a long drive.

    Belle maison familiale

    Une belle maison ancienne au coeur du bourg, avec une belle capacité, idéale pour les réunions de famille. On apprécierait cependant un coin salon plus confortable, avec un grand canapé.

    Vacances avec les petits-enfants

    Gite agréable et spacieux, même si la salle de bains et la cuisine mériteraient un petit coup de jeune. La piscine (chauffée) est très agréable, ainsi que le jardin. Attention toutefois avec les jeunes enfants car il y a un point d'eau non clos. Nous avons également regretté la présence d'un chien dans le gite mitoyen qui a crevé le ballon des enfants, sous le regard amusé de ses maîtres... Pourquoi autoriser les animaux ?
