A week in Champagne
4/5We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The beds and sofas were comfortable. The gite was well equipped. I thought the electrics were interesting, two wall sockets were loose. Abundant hot water. A gas cylinder (for the cooker?) was located indoors under the stair case. Instructions for the washing machine etc. would have been helpful, and a guest book for comments. Some garden plants were overgrown compromising the parking space.
Gites de France were not helpful. They corresponded only in French. They did not answer or return phone calls or emails.- Cleanliness 5/5

plusieurs jolis coins pour manger ou se reposer dans le jardin
facilité pour garer plusieurs voitures à l'intérieur
Charmant hameau avec intéressante commanderie des templiers à 200m
beau village de Bar sur Seine à proximité
faire cluedo géant au château de Vaux avec halte bistro "la poule de Vaux"
propriétaires avenants et à l'écoute
