Come and discover Les Demeures des Grands Lacs de Champagne. Situated in the heart of Brienne-le-Château, just 5 kms from Dienville, its marina and beach, you'll be seduced by this house of character. Jean-Louis Fontaine, former architect of the Château de Brienne, built this house to create the Château de Brienne in 1770. The aerodrome is just 5 minutes away: you're guaranteed a first flight, a parachute jump or a thrill ride. Need to prepare a meal? The owners can put you in touch with the caterer 50 m away.
On the first floor: a fully equipped kitchen with central island, multi-zone induction hob, American fridge and Senseo coffee maker. A dining room adorned with magnificent paintings, with two large tables in the center of the room for 15 people. A living room with library, television and home Cinema. A double bedroom (160x200cm), with private bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet suitable for disabled guests), a quadruple bedroom (90x190cm), a toilet. Upstairs, a double bedroom (160x200cm) with dressing table and closet, a double bedroom (160x200cm) with private bathroom (shower, wc), a double bedroom (200x200cm) with private bathroom (shower, wc), a triple bedroom (90x190cm) with decorative fireplace. A vast park completes the property. Piscine, unheated, open from June 1 to September 15, weather permitting. Bed linen, towels and Utilities included. Housework extra. Pets allowed on request.

Very nice stay
4/5- An old, but very beautiful house with a lovely garden (and mini playground)
- The above-ground pool was perfect.
- Clean rooms
- Very friendly owners
- Good and clear communication with the owners.
- Located in a lovely village, close to a reservoir (Lac d'Auzon-Temple) where you can walk and cycle.
- Ideal for a laid-back holiday with a large groupSo, we are very satisfied.
A few comments that did not detract from our positive stay:
- We did miss a sheltered area at the rear of the building. This would definitely be a plus. Nevertheless, we were able to eat in the shade by moving the tables under a tree in the garden.
- The barbecue was unusable because the grill was covered in burnt grease. We scrubbed it vigorously to get it clean but gave up.
- We didn't feel comfortable with the camera in the garden. We were informed about that camera by a text on a sign, and we also understand that the owner wants to protect his property, but on the other hand it affects our feeling of privacy during our stay.- Cleanliness 4/5

Thank you for your stay. We are surprised by your comments. We contacted you several times during your stay to see if everything was okay, but nothing was reported to us. You even told us that you wanted to come back. We are going to change the barbecue grill. We have gazebos available to protect you from the sun; guests often prefer the natural shade of the trees. As for the camera, it is indicated in the welcome booklet and is to protect against damage, as required by insurance companies. It must not have bothered you since, after your departure, we realized that you had sealed it off (it damaged the engine). We hope to respond to your comments. Best regards. Vérane and Laurent

Perfect aangepaste woning voor onze groep.
5/5Perfect schitterend huis voor onze familie. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst. Een fles cider en bloemen op tafel. Ouders met kinderen, hun partner en kleinkinderen. 6 volwassenen en 6 kinderen (tussen 1 en 10 jaar) en onze hond.
Het huis is perfect gelegen en voorzien van alle luxe die een mens nodig heeft. Keuken , eetplaats , salon , slaapkamers met voldoende badkamers en wc’s. Wasmachine. Volledig omheinde tuin. Veel plaats buiten. Voldoende parking op het terrein. Veilig zwembad (de ladder haal je weg, zo kunnen de kinderen niet in het zwembad. Super- Cleanliness 5/5

Très bon week end
5/5Propriétaires très accueillants.
Nous étions 11 amis et avons passé un très bon week end fin juin. Le Soleil et la chaleur étaient avec nous. Manger sous le grand chêne nous a permis d’être à l’ombre avec de la fraîcheur. Quand il faisait très chaud , nous avons aussi testé la piscine hors sol, très grande, et bien agréable pour se rafraîchir.
Maison de caractère et très bien décorée.
Plein de choses à voir/faire dans la ville et aux lacs d’orient- Cleanliness 5/5
