Although the general view of Mont-Saint-Michel is very well-known, it never fails to arouse a sense of wonderment when you see it for the first time. A holiday in the bay area is the opportunity to discover its intense maritime activity, notably different types of fishing. There are also a lot of art and craft professionals around the bay. A few kilometres inland the wooded countryside criss-crossed with rivers is ideal for long walks or mountain bike rides past waterfalls and strangely- shaped rocks.
