Welcome to Casa di Sognu, the Corsican word for "dream house" - aptly named. Situated in the village of Santo Pietro di Tenda, between the mountains and the Sea, and very close to the Gulf of Saint-Florent, this large traditional Corsican house (originally an old Pagliaghju: traditional Corsican sheepfold), built in the early 1800s, combines authenticity and comfort. Set in the heart of a bucolic garden planted with Mediterranean species, this privileged environment guarantees your serenity. The icing on the cake is a private heated swimming pool.

Catalunya Une bien belle maison de village !
Un vrai village et un bel esprit des habitants, une épicerie à 300 mètres de la maison. Une maison de village magnifiquement restaurée. Un jardin et piscine sans vis à vis.
Une semaine très très agréable. 20 à 25 minutes de Saint-Florent et sa chaleur. Le village de Santo Pietro à 400 mètres d’altitude permet d’avoir un fraîcheur nocturne …
Beaucoup de positif, dont le carnet accueil et ses bonnes adresses ! Dominique et son chaleureux accueil !

Flo Séjour très agréable
Maison de charme, décorée avec goût, tout confort! Piscine chauffée et très beau jardin.
Supermarché et commerces à 30 minutes. Très belles randonnées dans les environs du village.

Un très grand merci pour vos commentaires sur le confort de la maison et le jardin (que nous chérissons …)
Un boulanger passe 6/7 en saison et 4/7 hors saison devant la maison et il y a une superette dans le village juste derriere le bar Chez Rémy. L'hyperrmarché est à 20 minutes. -

Un séjour d'une semaine qui s'est très bien passé dans ce gîte très charmant, fait de pierres et de bois. Un accueil charmant et une excellente réactivité de Dominique à nos demandes.

My family and I stayed at Casu di Sognu for nearly two weeks. Prior to our arrival, the host proactively reached out and provided comprehensive information about the home and the local area (and even offered to translate it to English for me).
After a very long journey from the USA to Corsica, we found our arrival to Santo Pietro very straight-forward. We were met by Dominique, who showed us the home and explained all the essential information. The house itself was stunningly beautiful, with modern and tasteful décor that complemented the authentic and historic charm of the ancient house. The layout was very convenient and well suited for a family with children. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. The home is equipped with everything one would need to entertain.
The backyard was landscaped with fragrant lavender and rosemary bushes. We spent much time in the pool, which was well maintained and had a comfortable water temperature. The large outdoor dining area was perfect for barbeques or enjoying a glass of local Corsican wine. While the village is just a thirty-minute, scenic drive to Saint-Florent (where one will find many shops, restaurants and taxi boats to the nearby beaches), we found Santo Pietro and the nearby area worth much of our time. We awoke to the sounds of nearby church bells, cocking crows and braying donkeys. The views of the local hills and Agriates were the idyllic background for a calm and relaxing stay. Most importantly, the local people of Santo Pietro were exceptionally welcoming and friendly. Restaurant U 20246 is a short walk down the hill and quickly became our favorite place for delicious meals and wonderful conversations.
Throughout our stay, Dominique ensured that we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay special. She even rescued us after our car broke down and we were unable to get a taxi. I can’t emphasize enough the level of care and attentiveness we received during our stay.- Cleanliness

Solognots Séjour de charme
Gîte dans une ancienne maison en pierre très bien équipé avec un très beau jardin et une belle piscine chaude.
le cadre dans un petit village entouré de montagne est idyllique ; les habitants sont accueillants.
les commerces de bases sont assurés.
Accueil et service parfait.
Une cuisine d'été au niveau de la piscine serait un plus.
les personnes à mobilité réduites ne seront pas à l'aise ( 3 niveaux et accès au jardin)
Nous avons passé un très bon séjour malgrè l'état et la sinuosité des routes (St Florent à 30 minutes)Le rapport qualité-prix est cohérent
