A Funtanedda

The A Funtanedda sheepfold (meaning "little fountain" in Corsican) has been restored using traditional methods and noble materials. All the stones were salvaged from the ruins of the old sheepfold, which had been in the family for generations, and reassembled one by one to bring it back to life. The house exudes serenity and blends in perfectly with the wild landscape that surrounds it. The owner, who has largely restored the building himself, has succeeded in combining tradition with modern, functional facilities, and this sheepfold is brimming with little details and thoughtful touches to ensure a comfortable, zen-like stay. It promises days and evenings by the pool, or cosy indoors in front of a roaring fire, why not discover authentic Corsica in winter. Below the property, in the shade of the trees, you can hear the murmur of the flowing stream, creating a soothing, intimate atmosphere.

In the Countryside, at the bottom of the village, detached 70 m² stone cottage (caseddu).
