Welcome to our “den”! We are delighted to welcome you to our 15th-century home, nestled in the heart of the medieval quarter of Châtillon-sur-Loire. Completely renovated, it combines old-world charm with modern comforts to offer you a pleasant and authentic stay. We hope you’ll feel right at home here and that you’ll fully enjoy your getaway in our beautiful region. Things to See in the Area - Old Châtillon: Stroll through its medieval alleyways, explore the ruins of Château-Gaillard, and discover the winemakers’ houses on Rue Saint-Vincent. - The Protestant Temple and Saint-Maurice Church: Two iconic landmarks of the local heritage, right in the heart of the village. - The Mantelot Lock: A remarkable river structure classified as a Historic Monument. - L’Île à Gaston: A protected natural area, perfect for a walk along the banks of the Loire. - Briare (6 km): Its famous canal bridge, the Museum of Mosaics and Enamels, and its pleasant Restaurants. - Gien (20 min): Its castle overlooking the Loire and the famous pottery factory. - La Bussière Castle (15 to 20 min): The “fishermen’s castle,” with its vegetable garden and pond.

The ground floor features:
- A cozy living room, accessible right from the entrance, with a welcoming space perfect for spending time together. A decorative fireplace adds charm to the room. A selection of recommended local spots is available on the coffee table.
- A second living room, accessible via three steps, featuring a TV, reading, and game area. It offers a beautiful, unobstructed view of the garden and the village.
- A fully equipped kitchen (refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric oven, range hood, 4-burner induction cooktop, microwave, Nespresso capsule coffee maker, kettle, toaster, food processor, Soda Stream, raclette machine...)

On the first floor:
- An open-concept mezzanine, furnished with a 140x190 cm sofa bed and a work area.
- A bedroom with a 160x190 cm bed and a large closet/walk-in closet.
- A bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washer-dryer.

On the second floor:
- An open mezzanine, situated beneath a beautiful exposed beam ceiling, with a 140x190 cm bed and storage space.

Outside:
A courtyard that’s sunny in the morning, perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a moment of relaxation.
On the garden side, a wooden deck furnished with a dining area, lounge chairs, and a gas grill, offering an unobstructed view of the valley—perfect for sharing meals and enjoying the magnificent sunsets when the weather permits.
A garden of approximately 100 m², perfect for leisure time, with a shuttlecock and badminton rackets available for your use.

Free parking is available in front of the cemetery, located 100 meters from the house, or you can park a vehicle on the street, right in front of the holiday cottage.

All inclusive rate: Bed linen provided and beds made on arrival, bathroom linen provided, heating included, and end-of-stay housekeeping included.

Baby Equipment available upon request: Umbrella bed and high chair.
