Le Petit Bennes - charming house in the Countryside, between Puisaye and Gâtinais, near the Briare canal and the Loing river. A bucolic setting to recharge your batteries, between nature, heritage and the gentle way of life. Our rural estate, family-run for four generations, welcomes you to an authentic, soothing setting. Just 3 km from the village, in the heart of a private walled courtyard, lies Le Petit Bennes: a XVIIᵉ century house entirely renovated with care, in the spirit of an English cottage. Old beams, oak staircase, antique floor tiles, crackling fire in the fireplace or al fresco lunch... every moment is lived to the rhythm of nature and the charm of yesteryear. For your moments of relaxation, numerous paths invite you to take a stroll. At the end of the property, you'll discover : - The canal and its cycle route, for cycling or walking. - An arboretum, a veritable open-air tree museum

Facing east-west, the house opens onto the courtyard through three doors, allowing you to come and go whenever the weather's nice. In the center, a round lawn adorned with young lime trees, a gravel path, a sheltered parking area under an old ash tree, and long hydrangea beds running along the walls. Wide lawns lined with smooth rails guide your steps to new walks.

First floor:
- Welcoming entrance with coat rack, bench for Hiking boots, pétanque kit, separate WC.
- A through bedroom overlooking the courtyard and garden, equipped with a 160x190 cm double bed, a desk by the old fireplace, and an en-suite shower room with large shower and English-style towel rail.
- A main room with a cosy living room around the fireplace and its stove, an open kitchen opening onto the garden, and a convivial table for 7.
- Adjoining utility room

First floor:
From the entrance, an oak staircase made in the village leads to a bright landing, dressed in Sea rush, old beams and old-fashioned plasterwork. Windows overlook the courtyard.
- A large bedroom with three single beds (90x190 cm), accessed via an old door and step/beam to step over, with low beam (beware) and unobstructed view over the plain.
- Bathroom with bathtub, overlooking the garden.
- A bedroom with two single beds 90x190 cm (which can be placed close together), a desk and a north-facing window, offering a haven of peace and quiet.

Outside: A private driveway leads to the house and its courtyard, which are entirely reserved for your use. The buildings opposite will remain unoccupied during your stay. Paths cross the property for bucolic strolls. Garden furniture and a gas barbecue are at your disposal to enjoy your meals in the open air.

All-inclusive rate includes: heating included, Bed linen and towels provided and beds made on arrival, bathroom linen provided and end-of-stay cleaning included.

Quietly situated in the heart of an inhabited farming estate, the house benefits from the tranquility of the Countryside. The neighboring farm is dedicated to growing crops (no livestock), with only occasional tractor or machine traffic on the roads.
