La Thionnière

On a large estate in the heart of the Sologne Forest, we welcome you for your events with a venue that can accommodate up to 100 seated guests and up to 30 overnight guests on-site. The property consists of several independent lodging units, all of which are reserved exclusively for your event (a 6-person house, a 5-person house, and a trailer for 2 adults and 2 kids). Surrounded by forests and ponds, it’s an ideal starting point for exploring the region’s iconic landscapes on foot, by bike, or on horseback during hiking. The rich variety of flora and fauna will delight nature lovers, while the animals on the property (horses, donkeys, goats, geese, and more) will bring joy to young and old alike. On-site, a pond is perfect for a stroll (Fishing is prohibited). Fishing enthusiasts can head to the Cerdon Pond, located just 3 km away. The property enjoys a prime location, 18 km from the Château de Sully-sur-Loire and the “Loire à Vélo” cycling route, as well as 23 km from the Château de Gien. Just 7 km away, the Étang du Puits base de loisirs offers a vast lake in the heart of a preserved natural area, with supervised swimming in the summer, sailing, windsurfing, pedal boats, water skiing, and numerous walking trails within its bird sanctuary. Horseback riders are also welcome. Located just 33 km from the Federal Equestrian Park, the property provides a secure shelter in a pasture to accommodate your horses. They will have unlimited access to hay, straw, and water (additional charge of €25 per horse per day).

La Thionnière - Grand Gîte includes the three holiday cottages listed below and an event hall with a capacity of 100 people, featuring a semi-professional kitchen and a stage with lighting for bands or DJs.

An unusual, air-conditioned trailer with a bathroom, toilet, and kitchen, featuring one 140x200 cm double bed and two 80x200 cm single beds.

A shared laundry room, accessible from outside, is available for your use, equipped with two washing machines, a sink, cleaning supplies, board games, and social gathering appliances (raclette, fondue, and crepe maker).

Outside, the garden flows naturally into the Forest, with 2,500 m² of shared garden space. You can enjoy a private outdoor seating area with a table and chairs, as well as a charcoal grill. The 2,500 m² garden is shared, but each unit has its own private outdoor area with a garden table and chairs.

The 250 m² air-conditioned HALL can accommodate up to 100 people.
Equipment available: round and rectangular tables (5 round tables for 6 people, 6 round tables for 8 people, 4 rectangular tables for 8 people, and 3 rectangular tables for 6 people), chairs, a podium, lighting, tableware / Wi-Fi / Fully equipped kitchen at your disposal (4-burner gas stove, refrigerator with a 311L freezer compartment, microwave, dishwasher, ice maker) / Bar with two refrigerators / Coat check / Restrooms for men, women, and guests with limited mobility / Free private parking with 100 spaces / Outdoor lighting (facades, parking lot, and entrance to the venue) / A large green space for your cocktail reception

Private parking is available on the property.

The rate includes bed linens (beds made on arrival), towels, heating, and end-of-stay cleaning. Pets are allowed for an additional €10 per pet per stay. Pet waste must be picked up.

A breakfast basket can be delivered directly to your door (€7 per person). It includes fresh bread, pastries, butter, jam, Sologne honey, and orange juice. Tea and coffee are also provided to help you start your day off right.
