Gîte Le Cas Rouge

Happiness is at the Cas Rouge! A bright, spacious and welcoming Holiday cottage in the heart of the Centre Val de Loire region. It's the ideal place to spend a relaxing break in the heart of nature, with family or friends. This former farmhouse has been completely renovated to create a comfortable, welcoming holiday cottage with a modern decor. The original features have been preserved as far as possible to maintain the character of the building, with the wooden framework and stone walls giving this Holiday cottage an authentic feel. A few pieces of antique furniture and objects have also been redesigned to evoke the history of the place. Between the Loire Valley and the Petite Beauce, in the heart of a land dotted with hamlets and crossed by the Mauves, small streams flow gently towards the Loire. Stroll along the green banks of the Mauves and discover the six watermills that dot the river. There are many places to visit: the châteaux of the Loire, Chambord, Blois and Amboise, as well as the city of Orléans, rich in history and architecture, just 20 km away, and the pretty city of Meung sur Loire with its château, one of the oldest in the Loiret region, and the flamboyant Gothic basilica of Cléry Saint André, home to the tomb of LOUIS XI. Parks and gardens include the Parc Floral d'Orléans, the Jardin de Roquelin, the Jardin d'ILEX in Meung sur Loire and the Route de la Rose in Loiret.

KM Ground floor: large, bright living room with pellet stove, open-plan kitchen, shower room, separate toilet, bedroom with double bed (160x200cm) and bedroom with two single beds (90x190cm). Upstairs, a bedroom with a double bed 140x190cm and a bedroom with a double bed 160x200cm and two single beds 90x190 cm, a shower room and separate WC.

You can relax in the 450 m² garden, either lying back in the chiliennes or sharing a convivial moment around a charcoal barbecue. There's also a pétanque court and bike storage. It's the ideal place to enjoy the fine weather and play games in the open air (skittles, badminton, rackets...). There's also a boules pitch where you can play with your family or friends.

You can reach the center of Paris by car (130 km from the Holiday cottage) or by train from Meung sur Loire station (9 km) or Orléans station (20 km).
