Réjane and Bertrand welcome you to this former large building on the banks of the canal between Montargis and Briare, where you'll find the Holiday cottage "le Chaloy", 50m² for 4 people. A small private terrace is accessible from the living room to enjoy the sunsets. A large garden is also available. Once a post office relay, then a hotel, this two-hundred-year-old house stands elegantly a hundred meters from the Briare Canal, in a green, wooded and relaxing setting where exceptional flora and fauna cohabit. Just a stone's throw away, discover the Chaloy lock, the weir where ducks and moorhens come to splash about. One kilometer from the Holiday cottage, you'll be enchanted by the elegant Gazonne lock. As you stroll along the canal towpath, you'll come across these majestic barges, manned by courteous bargemen who are sure to greet you with a friendly wave. Relax on the banks of the étang du Chesnoy, de la Gazonne or des Fichus, fishing, reading or simply dozing on your deckchair... Just 100 m from the Holiday cottage, you'll find the Scandibérique cycle route, which takes you along the Briare canal in complete safety, joining the Loire à vélo route at Briare.

The first floor comprises the living-dining room, kitchen and shower room. Upstairs, you'll find a bedroom with a 140 cm double bed, and two 90 cm single beds on the landing.
The Holiday cottage is air-conditioned.
A laundry room is accessible from outside, with 3 washing machines and 2 dryers (shared with the other Holiday cottages on site). Private terrace, garden and shared barbecue.

A fishing paradise, Holiday cottage "Hébergement Fishing" (50 m from the canal, 100 m from the ponds, storage room for fishing equipment, loan of equipment and fridge for storing bait). At the Holiday cottage's doorstep, in the Chaloy pond, your carp friends await you... Do you fish for trout? If so... Opposite the Holiday cottage, in the étang des Fichus. If you're after pike or zander, try the Chesnoy or Gazonne ponds.
