The lock-keeper's house on the Briare canal bridge has been converted into a Holiday cottage with room-only rental. It is not a bed and breakfast (breakfast basket NOT included: extra charge, optional). The accommodation is located on the famous canal bridge, a historic monument built by Gustave Eiffel and others. Located on the route of the Loire à vélo, this house offers a view of the canal and the Loire. Briare is also on the Scandibérique cycle route from Norway to Spain. The accommodation comprises 15 beds in 6 rooms for 2 to 4 people. All rooms have magnificent views over the Loire, the canal, the canal bridge or Briare.

Ground floor = 1 "PMR" bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190) and its own adapted bathroom (shower, washbasin, toilet). A shared toilet also on the first floor.
1ER ÉTAGE = 3 double bedrooms share a common shower room and separate WC: Chambre "Eiffel" (2 single beds 90cm), Chambre "Séguier" (2 single beds 90cm, can be moved closer together) and Chambre "Lilas" (2 single beds 90cm, can be moved closer together).
2ND FLOOR = 2 rooms share a common shower room and separate toilet: Chambre triple "Augustine" (3 single beds 90) and Chambre quadruple "Célestin" (4 single beds 90).
[i] Bed linen is included in the rental price. Towels are available as an optional extra at €2/towel. Breakfasts are not included and are optional at 7€/pers.
/!\ The accommodation does not have a living room or kitchen. Only bedrooms are available for rent. However, you have access to two small refrigerators, a microwave, a coffee maker and a kettle on the 1st floor, shared with the other tenants.
A bar-restaurant (extra charge) is open from March to October on the first floor.
Enjoy our shared terrace overlooking the Loire and canal bridge.
A barbecue and secure bicycle garage are available on the ground floor.
From late June to late August, entertainment every weekend (Friday evening or Saturday evening or Saturday and Sunday afternoon). | Towels are available as an optional extra at €2/towel. Breakfasts are not included and are optional at 7€/pers.

Jean Pierre Halte très agréable au bord de la Loire
Idéalement placé, cette ancienne maison éclusière, entièrement rénovée, est un lieu parfait pour une halte. Les chambres sont agréables et tout est ok pour stocker les vélos.
