Stay in a renovated lock-keeper's house on the banks of the Cher: located in Bourré, a small village along the ancient Roman road that linked Bourges to Tours, famous for its network of underground galleries where tuffeau (also known as "Pierre de Bourré") was quarried. Nearby, you can visit mushroom cellars, enjoy the Montrichard beach in summer and take part in water sports (canoeing, kayaking, paddling).
