Gîte in the heart of Sologne, between the Loire castles and the medieval towns of the Cher valley

You'll enjoy a relaxing stay in this gîte, where you'll appreciate the living room on the first floor, with its traditional atmosphere and beamed architecture. Ideal for exploring the Sologne region, this gîte is a good starting point for exploring villages, ponds and vineyards, and you can visit one of the wonders of the Renaissance, the Loire Valley's most famous chateau, Chambord, as well as Cheverny, Chenonceau and the medieval town of Mennetou-sur-Cher, where Joan of Arc stopped. Rides through the Sologne on the Blanc Argent local and tourist train, accessible from the village. At the end of September and beginning of October, the stag's bellow can be heard animating the forests. You can hear it at night in the forest near the gîte. For a more active stay, canoeing, cycling, tennis, go-karting etc... 10 minutes from La Ferté-Imbault. Circuit des étangs (departure from the gîte, 47 km loop).

Ground floor: spacious living/dining room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet. First floor: small landing/reading area with armchair and desk, large bedroom (2 twin beds 90x180 ), second bedroom (1 bed 0.90m), shower room with WC (bathtub only for showers). Heating included from October 1 to April 30. WIFI Internet access. Bed linen included and Beds made on arrival. Bathroom linen included. Naturally cool living room in very hot summer months. Outside: enjoy the terrace with its garden furniture, deckchairs or in the shade under the arbour.
