Explore the famous Loire castles of Blois, Cheverny, Beauregard and Talcy, all less than 30 minutes away. Nature lovers will love cycling along the signposted La Loire à Vélo itineraries (the cycle path passes right by the Holiday cottage garden), strolling along the banks of the UNESCO World Heritage Loire, or exploring the game-filled forests of Sologne, just a few kilometers away.
Families can also enjoy the Beauval Zoo, one of the world's most beautiful zoos, around 1h10 away. And let's not forget the many local wineries and producers who will introduce you to their wines and local produce.
