Le Grand Saint Marc is located in Vendôme, 2 km from the city center and close to the shops. Once a priory for Benedictine monks, in the 19th century it became the property of wealthy bourgeois and aristocrats, who built a "Maison de plaisance". Entirely surrounded by walls, the park covers an area of 4.4 hectares. Extensively wooded, it includes a pond and streams, an orchard, a vegetable garden, a fruit orchard, a small Vineyard, a 1900 model greenhouse, market gardens... 3 of the 4 Bed and breakfasts are housed in a Renaissance farmhouse: the Pierre de Ronsard suite, the Joachim du Bellay apartment and the Antoine de Baïf room. The fourth, François Rabelais, is set back in the former janitor's house. The layout of these rooms reconciles the need for comfort with the authenticity of the setting.

François Rabelais room: (single-storey detached house): 1 bed 160x200 cm, living room with TV, hi-fi system and Bluetooth speaker, fitted kitchen (4 ceramic hobs, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee maker), shower room, separate WC. All rooms are air-conditioned and have private terraces. Breakfast is served in a common room in the farmhouse.
