Le Gîte du Lièvre

At the gateway to the Sologne region, 20 minutes from Chambord and Lamotte-Bevron, enjoy a quiet, all-inclusive gîte on the Sologne à Vélo itinerary.

Head to Sologne for a breath of fresh air in the Le Lièvre gîte. Ideal for a family with its 2 bedrooms, you'll be able to enjoy the many riches of the region from your gîte. From the many Chateaux of the Loire Valley, such as Chambord, 20 min away, or Cheverny, to the more intimate La Ferté Saint-Aubin or Beaugency. Less than 30 minutes from the FFE Parc Fédéral at Lamotte-Beuvon, you can also spend a day at Center-Parcs. For nature lovers, take advantage of the many hiking trails and cycling routes, including the "Terroir de Sologne" loop which passes in front of the gîte. 4 bicycles (2 adults, 1 teenager and 1 child) are available in the gîte. For those with a sweet tooth, your hosts will be happy to guide you through the region's seasonal produce. You can use the charcoal barbecue or plancha to prepare your meals.

Discover the Loire, a wild river listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and glide along in a canoe or boat. Fancy a spot of fishing? There's a communal pond 1 km away (fishing cards available from the Mairie or local shops). All-inclusive (except tourist tax), your gîte is set in 500 m² of fully enclosed grounds. Private outdoor parking is also available. A terrace in front of the house lets you enjoy your meals outside, or why not at the back of the house in the garden, or on the veranda in milder weather. Ground floor: fitted kitchen, living-dining room with wood-burning stove. 1bedroom(1 bed 140), 1bedroom(2 beds 90), shower room with large shower and double basin. Laundry room with washing machine and sinks. Not specifically adapted for disabled guests. Electric heating (included in rates). Garage with bicycles. Outdoor games for children. No WiFi access.
