In the heart of the Cher Valley, between vineyards and forest, enjoy a family holiday in a fully renovated former cellar with private outdoor space.
Ground floor: living room, open-plan dining room/kitchen, laundry room, 1 PMR bedroom with a 160x200cm bed (1 extra bed 90x190cm) and adjoining PMR shower room with shower. WC PMR. 1st floor: 1 green bedroom 160x200cm, 1 parma bedroom with 2 twin beds 90x190cm, 1 dormitory with 1 bed 140x190cm and 4 beds 90x190cm, WC, shower room. Outside: garden (with access to the owners' walnut business just behind), terrace with garden furniture. Wifi. Private parking. Gas heating extra (October 1 to April 30). Holiday cottage adjoining gîte 1066, both accommodating 20 people. Pets on request with owners' agreement (extra charge). Baby facilities. Non-smoking accommodation.

Bob Piggott Great Gite for families with little ones
Marie-Claude and Phillippe made us very welcome despite the fact that they had a family funeral imminent. They put up a great trampoline (enclosed by a net) which was very successful for the two boys (nearly 3 and 18 months). They put up rooms are practical and comfortable enough but robust enough for toddlers! We had an annual pass for Beauval Zoo (about 15 minutes away) which was brilliant value as it is surely one of the best zoos in the world with fabulous animals, two great shows, good value, varied food and lots for kids to do.
The Gite is set on a farm in a small village with an exceptional patisserie with several good vineyards and wine shops within a couple of miles. St Aignan is a pretty little town. The only word of caution (and it is very minor) is that the play area is not completely enclosed so that children need some supervision. But this is a great place for families with lovely owners. BOL beau gite et séjour agréable
Maison conforme au descriptif, chambres spacieuses, parking privé et espace extérieur sont un plus. Nous avons passé un très bon week-end en famille dans ce gite.
