Welcome to "La sérénité", your comfortable self-catering cottage in Feings (Le Controis in Sologne), in the southern Loire Valley. Your accommodation, which is an extension of the owners' house (on 1 hectare of land), has been completely renovated and is fully equipped for a stay for two (or with children). Local shops are just 4 km away.
Whether you're an occasional stroller or a seasoned walker, you'll find plenty of walks nearby, through forest and vineyard landscapes. The medieval towns of Montrichard and Saint Aignan are just 30 minutes away. Take the opportunity to "lézard" on the beach at Montrichard, or explore the troglodytic sites in the area if you need to cool off. And don't miss a visit to the famous ZooParc de Beauval in Saint Aignan! You're also less than half an hour from the Châteaux of Blois and Chambord or the magnificent gardens of Chaumont-sur-Loire.
All-inclusive gîte (except tourist tax), on one level, adjoining the owners' house, with independent access, private parking space and large shared 1-hectare garden (with pond).
First floor: large living room with open-plan fitted kitchen. 1 corridor with large closet and cleaning equipment. 1 bathroom with shower, bath and WC. 1 bedroom with double bed (160x200) and wardrobe.
Fireplace (wood included). Reversible air-conditioning. WIFI included (fiber). Non-smoking accommodation.
Cot and high chair available. Additional sleeping arrangements on request for children/adolescents: high-quality 2-person sofa bed (with mattress topper) in the living room, and/or an extra bed (in the bedroom). Not specifically adapted for disabled guests.
Bicycles and other equipment can be stored in a closed room on request. Electric vehicle charging station 7 kms away.

Cloé Evasion
Un formidable séjour, gîte très propre, confortable, très bien aménagé, très cosy, un style moderne et rustique et le ptit une cheminée que nous avons apprécié (en janvier) Des propriétaires très accueillants. Evasion complète. Merci Alain et Béatrice et pourquoi à bientôt pour profiter de l'extérieur !! De belles balades/visites de châteaux a proximité.

Nath un séjour plein de charme et chaleureux
De délicates attentions de la part des propriétaires particulièrement accueillants qui ont aménagé un gite d'un grand confort dans lequel on se sent vite comme à la maison. La cheminée et la décoration forment un ensemble très chaleureux. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la situation géographique du gite qui permet de visiter de très beaux sites dans un rayon de 30 à 45 minutes en voiture seulement. A recommander absolument!

We had a wonderful stay at La Serenite! The house was spatious, comfortable and very well equiped. From it several famous castles at the Loire were within half an hour drive: Chambord, Chenonceau, Chaumont. The owners Beatrice and Alain were very kind. They even provided us with vegetables from their garden, homemade jam and eggs from their chicken. Thanks again!
