This charming gîte is a haven of peace, set in a verdant setting in the courtyard of the owners' longère, 30 minutes from Beauval, 25 minutes from Chambord and 15 minutes from Cheverny, where you can relax in the jacuzzi, fish in the pond, play boules on our pétanque court (boules and plastic boules are available on loan for children, as well as badminton) or simply stroll around the property to rub shoulders with the farm animals in our henhouse, the wild ducks in the pond or the trees in our orchard.
Ground floor: kitchen (fireplace with insert), living room, shower room and separate toilet. From the kitchen, stairs lead up to a small mezzanine with 1 bed 0.90 m, more suitable for 1 child as the ceiling is low. From the living room, access by stairs to a mezzanine with 1 bed 1.40 m. On the gabled terrace, you'll enjoy the spa (5 people), garden furniture, lounge and deckchairs, not overlooked by the owners' house thanks to the pergola and sunshades. Breakfast available (8 euros per person). Wifi included. Non-smoking accommodation.

Gaguie Escapade en Sologne
Excellent séjour de 2 nuits à la Halte de Chambord. Nous avons adoré le cadre verdoyant et paysagé.
Merci à nos hôtes qui sont très accueillants et agréables. Le gros + est forcément le jacuzzi pour les adultes puis le coin "nuit" en mezzanine où un enfant se croit dans une cabane !- Cleanliness

Simon et Cécile Trés bon séjour en sologne
Après un très bon accueil des hôtes nous avons passés une très bonne semaine dans ce gîte très bien équipé et très bien situé pour découvrir la Sologne et ces activités. La terrasse et le spa sont de vrais plus après de longues journées en balades. Le calme autour du gîte, intégré, dans le jardin de la propriété permets de se sentir comme à la maison.

Dianne 2ème séjour dans ce gîte
Séjour très agréable malgré un temps maussade en cette fin d'été. Nous connaissions ce gite puisque nous y logions il y a 2 ans… nous n'avons donc pas hésité à y retourner. Il est idéalement situé pour les visites de châteaux et de la région. Les propriétaires (que nous saluons au passage!) sont très sympathiques et très discrets.

Warm welcome. Beautiful outside. Interior and terrace are like the pictures that you can find online.
A comfortable sofa would be a big improvement same as airconditioning.
Maby the warranty of 500€ is a bit much
To be honest, the gite wasn't cleaned.That was very noticeable in the toilet, the shower and kitchen stove.
In the kitchen you can also find a birds nest close to the stove at the sealing.- Cleanliness

The €500 deposit, intended to cover any potential damages during your stay, was fully refunded to you, as everything went smoothly. You were informed of this amount at the time of booking.
We were surprised by your remarks regarding the cleaning. Considering the usual positive feedback and your comments at the end of your stay, we consulted the owner, who confirms that the cleaning was carried out with the same care as for other stays, and subsequent guests have not encountered any issues in this regard.
Finally, the birds nest in the kitchen was decorative. Following your comment, the decoration has been removed.

Gîte vraiment bien pour un couple et un enfant avec le petit plus le jacuzzi bien protégépar une pergola avec rideaux occultant. Les propriétaires sont charmant et discret. Isabelle la propriétaires fait elle-même ses confitures que nous avons pu goûter.
De plus le gîte est assez bien centré des visites de châteaux et du zoo de Beauval (environ 30 min) .
A part les deux premiers jours où il a plu (heureusement qu'il y avait le jacuzzi ) notre séjour à été parfait.
