In the heart of the Châteaux de la Loire between Blois and Amboise, close to the Château de Chaumont/Loire and its famous garden festival, come and stay in this restored, detached farmhouse with individual walled garden (located on the outskirts of the village by the road), less than 30 minutes from the Holiday cottage, to discover the riches of the Loire Valley, with its many châteaux such as Chenonceau, Amboise and Clos Lucé, Cheverny and Chambord. You can also set off to discover smaller, more discreet nuggets such as the châteaux of Fougères-sur-Bièvre, Montpoupon or Château Gaillard. Take advantage of the Loire, an incredible river with an unspoilt natural setting and a UNESCO World Heritage site, and follow the Loire à Vélo or the many cycling and walking itineraries. In summer, you can relax on the natural beach in the Cher at Montrichard, and why not take a canoe or boat trip down the river.
