Welcome to "La Bergerie de la Lezardière", a little cocoon in an old farmhouse dating from the late 19th century, with the Château de Ménars, former home of the Marquise de Pompadour, and its formal gardens, as a backdrop. Your 2-person gîte is located in Saint Claude de Diray, a peaceful village on the banks of the Loire (a wild royal river, listed as a Unesco World Heritage site), halfway between Blois and Chambord (less than 10 minutes away). Cycle along the Loire, wander through the Loire Valley or Sologne, and don't miss a visit to the famous Châteaux de la Loire. Gourmets will not be outdone in the region: AOC Cheverny wine, goat's cheese, asparagus... our restaurateurs and producers will be delighted to help you discover all the flavors of the Loir-et-Cher!
