Welcome to the Holiday cottage du Marais in Thoury, a commune in the Loir-et-Cher department less than 10 minutes from the magnificent Chambord estate, with its Château, a veritable architectural masterpiece, in the heart of France's largest enclosed forest. You're also just 30 minutes from the City of Blois, a city rich in Art and History, the Château de Cheverny (which inspired the film "Tintin"), and the more discreet Châteaux de Villesavin and de Beauregard. Less than an hour away, don't miss the superb gardens of the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire!
The region abounds in cycling and Hiking trails, as well as local delicacies (wines, goat cheeses, Chambord cookies, etc.). The Loire Valley has a lot to offer!
