Welcome to the Vendôme area, in the Centre region of France, close to the Vendôme TGV station (access to Paris Montparnasse in 45 minutes) and about half an hour from Blois.

Near Vendôme, in a hamlet in the village of Crucheray, Marie-France and Jean-Claude welcome you to their restored farmhouse. A warm and cosy environment awaits you. Nearby (2 kms) you'll find a farm selling local produce (honey, poultry, green asparagus...). In the Vendôme region, there are many places to visit and discover: Vendôme, a city of art and history crossed by the River Loir (15 min away), the small troglodytic town of Trôo, Lavardin (one of France's most beautiful villages), the garden of Plessis-Sasnières for a bucolic stroll, the Commanderie d'Arville, Ronsard's birthplace at Couture-sur-Loir, etc. You're also 30 minutes from the City of Blois (with its Royal Castle, the House of Magic, etc.), less than 45 minutes from the City of Tours, the magnificent Domaine de Chambord, the Château de Cheverny (and its Tintin exhibition), the Domaine de Chaumont-sur-Loire and its gardens, etc.

Upstairs: an independent suite comprising a bedroom with 1 double bed (160x200cm); a living room with an extra double sofa-bed (possibility of accommodating a second couple or 1 child over 24 months); a private bathroom with shower and washbasin; independent, private WC.
Breakfast: classic sweet (hot drinks, homemade brioche and cakes, different types of bread, homemade yoghurt and jam, cereals, fresh fruit, etc.); savory breakfast available on request; served either in the dining room or on the terrace.
Outside: private garden area at the side of the house and free access to the owners' garden (garden furniture, swing, etc.). You can also enjoy a picnic (free access to fridge-freezer in garage).
Babies up to 24 months welcome free of charge (cot and high chair available).
