In the commune of Contres, between the Château de Blois and the Beauval Zooparc, this pretty 19th century house sits in 1.5 hectares of wooded grounds. The house has been completely restored, combining tradition and modernity. Kids will be delighted to find outdoor play equipment: trampoline, slide, zip-line, ninja course... There's also a Lake for Fishing and a picnic table. Come and put down your suitcases! Not far from the Châteaux, gardens and beautiful City of Blois, everything you need to discover the region is at your fingertips. The quality of our bedding and the calm of our Countryside will recharge your batteries. Single "green up" plug for recharging electric vehicles or plug-in hybrids. 3.7 Kwh power.
On the ground floor: our dining/living room with its large bay window overlooks the garden, the fitted kitchen opens onto the living room, and a corridor giving access to a toilet with washbasin leads to our 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, redecorated in a contemporary style: 1 bedroom accessible to people with reduced mobility (1 bed 160) with its own shower room and toilet, and 2 bedrooms (beds 160) each with its own shower room and toilet. Underfloor heating provided by a heat pump will wrap you in the warmth of a cosy nest. Upstairs, on the mezzanine: a living room dedicated to reading and quiet, the sofa bed converts into 1 bed for 2 people (140x190). In the event of the presence of a pet (with the owners' agreement), a supplement of €10/day/pet will be charged on arrival. Rates include: beds made + towels. Non-smoking Holiday cottage. Electricity: 12 kwh/day included, more according to meter reading.

Les Chtis Découverte de Chambord
Très beau gite, chambres avec suite parentale dans chacune, très bien équipé et au calme. Propriétaire accueillant et sympathique. Je recommande ce gite pour découvrir le Val de Loire

SANDRA N. Peaceful, comfortable, and very well equipped
We loved this gite which is a little off the beaten track and therefore very tranquil, but conveniently sited for visiting several major chateaux and also the attractive local towns such as Blois and Tours. The accommodation has been designed and equipped with great care and includes one bedroom and bathroom suitable for anyone with limited mobility. We recommend it without hesitation.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié cette maison bien située, au calme et particulièrement bien entretenue. Chaque chambre possède sa salle de bain, l’espace commun est confortable et tous les équipements sont de qualité.
Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Mr Cordier qui nous a donné toutes les explications pour notre séjour. C’est un hôte à la fois attentif et discret. Nous recommandons chaleureusement cette location !- Cleanliness

RaWiHe Bochum/Witten
Uns hat es sehr beeindruckt, daß jedes der 3 Schlafzimmer ein eigenes Bad mit WC hatte und es gab zusätzlich noch ein WC. Die Ausstattung der Küche war gut; der Herd und die anderen elektrischen Geräte waren einfach zu bedienen.
M.Cordier ist am 1. Abend vor uns hergefahren, damit wir ein Restaurant erreichen konnten. Er war auch hilfreich bei der Wahl unserer Ausflüge.- Cleanliness
