L'oasis des copains

Nestled in Chassignolles, in the heart of the La Châtre region of Berry, L'Oasis des Copains invites you to enjoy a bucolic interlude between hedged farmland and lush green valleys. This corner of Berry, so dear to George Sand, offers the ideal setting for relaxing and discovering nature: Hiking on the hilly paths of the Boischaut Sud, Swimming and water sports at the Rochegaudon pond or the Lake at Pouligny-Notre-Dame, visits to the Sarzay castle and the charming surrounding villages. Nearby, La Châtre boasts a rich heritage and a typical Market, while Aigurande offers shops and local entertainment. A perfect place to get together with friends or family, in a friendly, authentic Berry atmosphere.

Entrance is via the convivial kitchen, which opens onto a large dining room. A few steps lead down to the mezzanine-level living room, with its wood-burning stove and large sofa, ideal for relaxing moments. This level also includes a double bedroom with 160 cm bed and en-suite shower room, as well as a separate toilet. On the second floor, a large landing serves as a relaxation area, with reading corner, table soccer, video projector and sofa.
This floor comprises three bedrooms: two with a double bed (160x200 cm), one with two single beds (90x200 cm) and a Bunk beds. The bedrooms share a large bathroom, a shower room with WC, and a separate WC. The second floor has two attic bedrooms, both with two single beds (90x200 cm), separated by a small landing.

The Holiday cottage has a private outdoor area with garden furniture, barbecue and parking. Pets are allowed, and the presence of a donkey and hens on site reinforces the rural, family atmosphere of the place. When you stay at L'Oasis des Copains, you'll be sharing much more than just a gîte: you'll come across our dogs and cats, who are always delighted to go for a walk with you in the surrounding paths.
Kids can collect fresh eggs from the henhouse and meet Tsuki and Capucine, our two donkeys, always ready to receive a few carrots and scratches. And all around the gîte, you'll see our Charolais cows grazing, proud inhabitants of the farm's meadows. Wellbeing extras: During your stay, enjoy a relaxing reflexology or wellbeing massage session, bookable on Saturday afternoons. Holiday cottage guests benefit from discounts on these services.

The price includes: end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), reasonable heating and electricity consumption - if the Holiday cottage is heated electrically, you have 15 Kwh per day at your disposal (any excess must be paid on site to the hosts). You'll also enjoy the unheated wooden swimming pool in the garden, ideal for relaxing with family or friends. Located opposite the house, it is equipped with an anti-drowning alarm. Beds made on arrival are €12 extra per bed, and towels are €3 extra per person.
