Le Gîte de la Poste

At the entrance to the village of Orsennes, close to the Market square and shops, this holiday cottage has been transformed from a former hotel-restaurant into a comfortable, spacious place, perfect for a stay with family or friends. Ideally located between La Châtre and Éguzon, it's the perfect base for exploring the rolling countryside of southern Berry. Just a few kilometers away, take advantage of Lake d'Éguzon, one of the largest lakes in the Centre-Val de Loire region, for swimming, water sports or walks along the trails of the Crozant ruins. Heritage lovers can visit Sainte-Sévère-sur-Indre, famous for the filming of Jacques Tati's Jour de fête, or stroll through the picturesque streets of La Châtre, home of George Sand.

Access to the Holiday cottage is from either side of the house: on the street side, via the main entrance to the building, or at the rear, from the private parking area, with direct access to the terrace.
The terrace is spacious and pleasant, with garden furniture, parasol and barbecue - perfect for outdoor meals and relaxation.

Inside, the bright, comfortable living room is the perfect place to enjoy a meal or a moment of relaxation. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with everything you need to easily prepare your meals during your stay. There are also two cozy bedrooms (not partitioned up to the ceiling), each with a 140 x 190 cm bed.

The all-inclusive price includes: bed linen and towels for the stay, end-of-stay cleaning (excluding dishes and rubbish), heating and electricity with reasonable consumption - if the cottage is heated electrically, you have 15 Kwh per day (any excess must be paid on site to the hosts).
