La Georgette

Nestled in the picturesque Berry region of the Indre department, just 25 km south of Châteauroux, La Georgette invites you to discover an oasis of tranquility in the heart of France. This rural retreat is the ideal place for a peaceful, serene getaway. Enjoy a multitude of activities for all ages and interests: relax by our swimming pool (6 x 12 m solar heated), explore the surrounding area on foot or by bike, let your imagination run wild building cabins in our woods, and engage in various games such as table tennis, soccer, or indoor badminton (230m² badminton/volleyball/ping-pong room to be shared with 2 other Holiday cottages on site). For pétanque enthusiasts, facilities are also available, and for those looking for more thrills, water skiing is available at a Base de loisirs 33 km away, with attractive group rates. Other activities include accrobranche (tree climbing), horse riding, various sports and canoeing down rivers. Both indoor and outdoor living spaces have been designed to encourage conviviality and sharing. Two barbecues are available for outdoor relaxation. Younger guests will be delighted by a sandpit, a swing set and a knotted rope. The solar-heated Piscine is open from May to September, weather permitting. Last but not least, some twenty bikes, including mountain bikes and VTCs, are available free of charge for unforgettable rides in the surrounding area.

First floor: living room with TV, fireplace with wood-burning stove and sofas, dining kitchen, WC, laundry room.
A 40m² dining room can also be used as a dance hall or meeting room.

Upstairs: 5 bedrooms and 5 showers (2 bedrooms with 1 double bed (180 x 190 cm) that can be separated to form single beds, 1 bedroom with 5 single beds and 2 bedrooms with 3 single beds). 3 toilets.

Outside: In a domain with two other Holiday cottages, a large 230m² room to share and an 80 m² covered courtyard, a solar-heated swimming pool from May to September, weather permitting.

Additional extras: cleaning package at 140€, bed linen package (optional): 10€/single bed and 15€/double bed, wood at 90€ per stere and electric heating (invoiced according to consumption over 8kwh per gîte per day).
