From the holiday cottage, set out to explore the Château de Sarzay—made famous by George Sand—as well as the many charming villages that dot the Berry countryside. Nature lovers will enjoy the hiking trails, bike routes, and sunken paths that wind through wooded countryside and valleys, as well as the greenway. George Sand’s House in Nohant, farmers’ markets, traditional festivals, and the cultural sites of the La Châtre region offer plenty of ideas for outings throughout the year. This location is also an ideal starting point for exploring southern Berry and discovering a region rich in heritage, gastronomy, and outdoor activities, all in a peaceful and rejuvenating atmosphere.

This detached Berry-style farmhouse offers spacious rooms and a setting perfect for stays with family or friends. On the ground floor, a spacious living area combines the living room, dining room, and open kitchen. The living room is equipped with a digital TV, a sound system, a DVD player, as well as a fireplace with an insert and a wood pellet stove for cooler evenings.

A sleeping area (separated by a curtain) with one double bed (140x190 cm) is located on the ground floor and has direct access to the terrace.
A bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washing machine completes this level.

Upstairs, the mezzanine features two double beds (140x190 cm) and a work area. A double bed (140x190 cm) is available upon request.

Outside, guests can enjoy a garden shared with the owners (with a private section), a gazebo with patio furniture, a charcoal grill, and a swing.

Private parking is available on-site, and an electric vehicle charging station is accessible in the barn located across from the accommodation.

Pets allowed. Baby equipment available, including a crib and high chair. Utilities included.

The all-inclusive rate includes: bed linens and towels for the duration of your stay, a final cleaning (excluding dishes and trash), heating and electricity, subject to reasonable and moderate use—if the holiday cottage has electric heating, you are allotted 15 kWh per day (any excess must be paid on-site to the hosts).
